(Here is a blog, from my younger cousin Natasha. On how Fibro effects her life..)
Georgie is my cousin but we may as well be sisters with how close we are. She is four years older than me, so we are very close in age and we live together.Like all family, we have our ups and downs but we will always be there for each other, through thick and thin.
As someone who had never heard of fibromyalgia, I found it very hard to understand what fibromyalgia is and unfortunately that caused a big argument. Now that I have looked it up, and I have 2 people in my life with fibromyalgia, I understand that it’s not just my cousin overreacting, in fact, it’s very hard to do everyday things when you are suffering from fibromyalgia. Not only is it hard because Georgie isn’t always able to help around the house no matter how hard she tries, it’s also horrible to see her when she’s in pain and crying sometimes because it’s too much for her.
I have to admit I still don’t understand how painful it is and I never will because I don’t suffer with it myself but seeing someone you care about in constant, unbearable pain is horrible.
